Drako Romaniuk grew up between Manhattan & Miami. Educated in London, England, he worked in London salons, as well as on different magazine covers & photo shoots throughout Europe. Drako worked at the London, Berlin, Paris, & New York fashion shows through the 80`s, and then moved back to New York to work at the famous Girl Loves Boy in Soho. In 1992, he moved to Miami and worked at several Miami Beach salons including Ego Trip in South Beach where Allure Magazine recognized him as the best hair stylist in south Florida. In 2006 he made his dream a reality by opening HAIRDRAGON SALON. He is certified with Socap extensions, and is an expert in bridal hair. In addition to the salon Drako works on location for at Miami Fashion Week with designers including: Rosa Cha, Becca, Shay Todd. He has provided hair styling to actress Eva Longoria and supermodel Veronica Webb.
Robert Cartwright is a master colorist and stylist and is a graduate of Paul Mitchell Academy. A Chicago native, Robert began his professional career in 2002 at Dream Hair Salon in North Miami where he worked for six years. Robert was also a hair stylist at Univision Television Network in Miami. He then worked at SAMY Salon on South Beach and, during this time, he worked at several fashion shows, including Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2009 in Miami and for magazine shoots. In addition, Robert has styled several celebrities’ hair such as Hailey Duff, Christina Millian, Nick Zano, and Rachel Specter. He is certified by Redken in Color Connection and by Color Science in Advanced Mineral Makeup Application “Camouflage Techniques.” Robert is also certified by Ultra Tress extensions and by Paul Brown for thermal straightening. He is a great addition to the HAIRDRAGON SALON family.
Samantha Milton has been a hair stylist for more than 20 years. She was born London, and began her career with Trevor Sorbie Hair in Covent Garden. She moved to Toronto where she worked with Denis Bouchard hair team and Mac Make up. As a freelance stylist, she worked on magazine editorial, commercials, and music videos. In 1991 she came to Miami to work with Irene Marie agency. She is a colour expert also specializing in precision and textured hair cuts. She is certified with Socap extensions and worked on location at Miami's Fashion Week with top designers including Shay Todd. HAIRDRAGON SALON is excited to have someone with Samantha's experience as part of the team.
Danny Aruj has been in the hair industry for 38 years both as a Stylist and Salon Owner. He was first inspired in the mid 1970s when Hair became a revolution through mentors and visionaries such as Vidal Sassoon and Paul Mitchell. In 1984, he opened “Salon Aruj”, his first salon, in the Brickell area. He expanded the salon to a day spa concept two years later and added a second location in Coconut Grove called “Aruj Salon and Spa.” In addition to being an early pioneer of the day spa concept, he was one of the first to feature Aveda products in the context of an Aveda concept salon.
In spite of the changing trends, Danny is more interested in “good hair” as long as it’s healthy and suitable for his guests. He finds additional inspiration from his co-workers’ unique and differing talents which allow him the opportunity to continue growing and learning as a stylist. He has also traveled extensively to various cities in the U.S., England and Italy for continuing education.
Throughout his career Danny has been involved in the community and participates in various charity fundraisers and organizations. In 2001, he was involved in a serious accident that forced him to sell his Salons. However, following an arduous and inspirational recovery, he returned to the industry as a stylist and now has an
